Midtown Market

Great day at the Market yesterday.  The rain staid away for the most part, just a little sprinkle and that was all.   Dan made a gluten free bar with macadamia nuts and coconut which proved a winner with our gluten free friends.  Our Bourbon Pecan truffle, using pecans from NC always sells out as did our Almond Brigadeiro, (which doesn't contain any chocolate).   It is really rich, made with almond butter rolled in slivered almonds.

With the weather being so hot and humid, it is a challenge for us to display our chocolates and candy. We use ceramic tiles to display a sample of our  chocolates and it works for the most part with just an occasional casualty.  The rest of our chocolates...... they are kept cool in our cooler.

This humid weather prevents us from making beer brittle which is a shame,  as it is a big hit whenever we do make it.

Some people were buying their "Father's Day" gifts yesterday and bought our Brew Chews.  Don't worry if you missed out, we will be at BottleMixx next Saturday selling our Brew Chews.  Bottlemixx will be having an "Olde Hickory" tasting at the same time, so drop by for a taste and buy Dad some Brew Chews!

If we don't see you then, see you at the Midtown Farmers' Market in two weeks

Ger
