Beat the Heat

Here is a "cool" way to beat the heat this time of year and it involves beer.  Yes, they are ice pops made with beer and in this case,  IPA and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.  Delicious.

Toffee and more toffee..

We will have more of our toffee at the next pop-up market on Saturday April 30 on Pershing Street.  Our tent will be in the Neuse River Brewing Co parking lot.  We share a tent with Neusiok Wines.
So if you are craving some of our toffee, see you next Saturday.  I'll post what flavors we will have during the week.

What a great weekend.

It was a good weekend for GerDan Chocolates.  We sold all our Zombie Bunnies…. the more gruesome the better.  Our Campfires S'mores toffee sold out too so when we do markets we will have to make sure we have plenty.  You can't go wrong with toffee, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate.  What makes it "Campfire"?   We sprinkle Hickory smoked sea salt on top.

Peanut Butter and Banana eggs and the Leaf shaped bonbons were citrus made with fruit from Doren Orchards in California.

Our cute little chicky truffles were made with chocolate ganache and coco nibs.

Changed it up a bit with new Tshirts

Saturday March 26

Easter is nearly upon us and if you need some chocolates and candy for Easter, then drop by the Easter Pop-up Market at Neuse River Brewing this coming Saturday.  There will be several other great vendors there.  Weather is going to be great.

We'll have some 'Smores Toffee and chocolate floppy eared Bunnies for sale and of course some Brew Chews (our caramels made with Beer).

Love is all around

Indeed, say Happy Valentine's Day with a box of our chocolates.  Where can you get some?  Enjoy 3 of our chocolates at Bubbles and Chocolate tasting, Crafty Beer Shop, Five Points on February 13.

If you are in Smithfield, enjoy pairing our chocolates with Double Barley Beers starting Friday February12 at the brewery.  Wine & Beer 101 in Wake Forest and Raleigh will be carrying a limited supply of boxes with our "champagne" truffles.
And Saturday Feb 13 we will be at Bottlemixx selling boxes of our chocolates from 2:30 to 5:30pm.

Where you will find us this weekend

This Saturday December 19 we will be at Bottlemixx at Creedmoor and Strickland. Sunday we will be at the Hop and Shop Market downtown Raleigh at City Market from noon until 5pm.  Merry Christmas everyone.

21st Amendment - Prohibition repealed on December 5

Celebrate the repeal of Prohibition on Saturday December 5 at Hoppy Holiday Bazaar at Neuse River Brewing on Pershing St.  We all have our Gin Chocolate Bars to help you with the celebrations along with Brew Chews,  Toffee and Stir Sticks
Neuse River Brewing are also collecting food for the Food Bank so bring some along.
Santa will be there from  too 3 to 5 for the kids.
Hop on down and do some of your Holiday shopping from local vendors.
