November 28 - Small Business Saturday

For the first time, we will be participating in Small Business Saturday with our partners - Neusiok Wines.  After you finish your Mall Shopping, why not stop by the warehouse and shop some more.  There will be wines to buy and of we will have chocolates and we can also take your orders for Christmas.

Toffee

All our toffees and brittles are made in small batches so when you see it buy it as it doesn't hang around for very long.  Here is a photo of our Campfire toffee from yesterday, it too sold out.  Bet it was all those marshmallows and hickory smoked salt on top!  Definitely smelt like a campfire.

Catch us next

Start your Halloween fun at Bull City Ciderworks and catch us there from 4pm.  We'll have Brigadeiros, truffles and Brew Chews and a limited batch of our new Campfire S'mores Toffee. It has graham crackers, marshmallows, toffee with a layer of chocolate and Hickory smoked salt.

Where we will be in October

We are thrilled to be part of the Drafts and Carafes event in Knightdale on October 17 from 4pm to 8pm. Bring a chair and enjoy the music, food, beer and wine and of course GerDan Chocolates.

Beat the heat

To beat this heat, we created these ice pops using grapefruit (juice and skin) fresh lime juice, sugar, water, a fresh hop and Touche IPA from Double Barley Brewing in Smithfield.  They are very refreshing with the grapefruit and lime juice and then you get the bitter taste from the IPA.   The green hop (not shown in this photo) adds a fun decoration to this pop.   Perfect for this hot weather.
