It is that time of year again for us…….. the start of the Farmers' Market season. And this Saturday we will be at Midtown Farmers' Market for their opening day.
We will have truffles, brigadeiros, Crack Bars and of course Brew Chews. Since it is the day before Easter we will have limited quantities of our Easter Bunnies. If you can't make it to the Farmers' Market, you can always catch us later that day at BottleMixx on Strickland and Creedmoor Rd.
Made our Pistachio Brigaderio's with really dark chocolate. The chocolate has no sugar, so the sweetness in the candy comes from the Pistachio liquor. They turned out really good but be warned, they are not very sweet. On the other hand, if it is something sweet that you crave, then our Apple Pie truffle will definitely be something you should try made with organic ceylon cinnamon which is naturally sweet and pure apple juice. One of my favorites is our Lemon Brigadeiro, it reminds me of a slice of Lemon Meringue pie…… yum. If it is something hot and sour that you want, the I'd recommend our Crack Bars. They have a groupie following all of their own and rightly so, they are
that addictive, made with passionfruit caramel, cayenne, chipotle and rice krispies.
