It is the 3 day weekend coming up next weekend. GerDan will not be at Midtown Farmers Market on August 31.
Our next market will be on Thursday Sept 5 at Franklin Medical Center in Louisburg. We will have a few truffles and brigadeiros but since our Rice Krispie and peanut butter bars are so popular there with the staff, we will probably have them for sale together with our Crack Bars. So if you are in Louisburg on Thursday Morning of Sept 5, see you there. There are other produce and meat vendors there too.

Sam's and Midtown
This coming weekend, I'll be at Midtown Farmers Market, and then I'll join Dan at Sam's Quik Shop in Durham. Sam's is having a "Founders" beer takeover so we'll be there with our Brew Chews and Truffles.

Where we'll be this weekend - August 10
We will be at the artisan market at Williams-Sonoma at Streets of Southpoint, Durham. If you are in the area, drop by to say hello. The market runs from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Figs
Our figs are starting to ripen on the trees. Let's hope I can get some before the squirrels and deer. Perhaps we'll try filling these with a ganache or marscapone or just dry them! Either way... delicious.
